The KINONE Cafe (棋の音Cafe) opened on October 1, 2024, on the first floor of the Shogi Kaikan (将棋会館), which houses the headquarters of the Japan Shogi Association.  Alongside the cafe, the KINONE Dojo and Shop aim to promote shogi (Japanese chess).

The cafe serves curry rice, sweets, coffee, and soft drinks throughout the day.  After 6:00 PM, French fries, sausages, nuts, karaage, and beer are also available.

Aigakari (相掛かり), known as "Double Wing Attack" or "Center Game" in English, is a type of strategy in shogi.  European-style curry and Keema curry are served together in this menu item.

Next to the cafe, the KINONE Shop offers a selection of shogi-related items, including boards, pieces, fans, books, and souvenirs.  The KINONE Dojo hosts periodic shogi events and matches.

Since the Shogi Kaikan appears in the anime "March Comes In Like a Lion" (3月のライオン), utility hole covers featuring characters from the series can be found around the Sendagaya area.
