Hachimori Inari Jinja (八森稲荷神社) is an
Inari shrine located southeast of
Tsujido Station in the Tsujidomotomachi District of
Fujisawa,
Kanagawa Prefecture. It is often referred to as the "
Oinari-sama of Nishimachi (西町のお稲荷様)."
Next to the shrine is an iron plate that was used for testing at the Imperial Japanese Navy's proving ground at Tsujido Beach in 1888. Experts have noted that its chemical composition is close to steel plates used in ships like the Titanic and the Japanese battleship Mikasa, both constructed by British companies.
